How to Apply For the NSTSE Exam

The application process for the NSTSE 2018 examination is a very simple one. An applicant can download the registration form online. Once the form is downloaded and filled in, it has to be sent along with a demand draft of ₹300 to Hyderabad to the UNIFIED Council. The amount paid includes the expenses covered for the examination fee, Success series books, multiple choice question papers sets from past examinations and the performance report of students.

Selection Procedure for NSTSE

This examination is conducted at 2 levels. Level one of the examination is usually conducted at selected schools that are designated as official test centers. The top 20 students from each class and the top 500 students from classes 2 to 12 across the nation are then selected for the second level of this examination. The second level of this examination is conducted at a state headquarters after which the results for the same are announced.

Declaration of Results

Each student that appears for the examination gets a student performance report that declares his or her overall performance. This report also points out the weaknesses and strengths of every student and compares the overall performance of the student with that of other students at school, state and national levels.
